Drum kits, amplification, keyboards and monitoring supplied, tuned and set to the artist rider — with a backline technician on deck for load-in, spares and changeovers. Veteran-owned, staged from our Torrington, Connecticut facility and delivered from Maine to Miami and the Caribbean.

What does backline rental include?

Backline rental covers the instruments and stage gear a performing act needs on site — drum kits, guitar and bass amplification, keyboards, percussion, stage monitors and the hardware that supports them. Ramar Event Productions supplies backline against the written artist rider, delivers and tunes it before the advance call, and can staff a backline technician for load-in, spares and act changeovers.

We read the rider line by line, confirm substitutions in writing, and have the stage set before the artist advance call. Changeovers between acts are rehearsed, not improvised.

House bands, horn sections and jazz trios get matched gear and a quiet stage. Backline is integrated with the corporate AV package so there is one crew and one contract.

Festivals & Multi-Act Stages

Shared backline packages built for fast turnover — labelled positions, spare heads and sticks on deck, and a tech assigned to the deck all day.

Our own trucks and crew handle transport across the East Coast, so gear arrives with the people who are responsible for it.

Backline Rental Questions

Do you rent backline separately from audio?

Yes. Backline and instrument rental is available on its own, or bundled with our audio system design and engineering. Most clients bundle the two so one crew owns the stage from instruments through front of house.

Can you fulfil an artist rider exactly?

We work from the written rider and confirm every line item before the show. Where an exact model is unavailable, we propose an approved equivalent in writing and get sign-off from the artist or tour manager first.

Where do you deliver backline?

Maine to Miami and across the Caribbean, staged from our 25,000 sq ft production facility in Torrington, Connecticut. Delivery, set, tuning and strike are included on regional dates.

Is a technician included with the rental?

A backline technician can be added to any package and is standard on multi-act and festival stages. The tech handles load-in, tuning, spares and changeovers so the show does not stall between sets.
